"Those of us who were under privileged were not ever about to know what a theatre is", says singer and actress Stephanie Baartman. "Those were our first experiences of people coming with a bus and everyone being so excited, looking through the windows because the actors have arrived." Stephanie is talking about the value of theatre and art in our society and especially for young children. Stephanie is a well know actress in South African who plays the role of Bibi in the television series "Getroud met Rugby." She is also now involved in a program where maths is taught in schools through story telling and short little plays. She recognises the value of music and acting in her life and she wants to give back to the communities of South Africa.
