"I think what is interesting to me is the blending of different musical genres" says Jazz Pianist and freelance musician Richard Seniow. When different musical styles like blues, musicals rhythms from Africa and European instruments and knowledge, and all these different genres coming together to make something new is what Richard finds inspiring. Richard is also part of a band called "Son del raval" with Maroccan, Spanish, Nigerian and Austrian influences from the musicians that give them a very unique sound. Richard also teaches Piano and his has a very natural and organic approach to teaching where he allows his students to progress at their own pace without unnecessary pressure. He also gives advice to young upcoming musicians on how to get into the music industry in Austria where there is not a fanbase culture that you have in other countries.
