Randol Betancourt and Olja Djukic - Ballet dancers - Bringing the art of ballet to more people

"We met people from all around the world, so it was very interesting me how, at that moment, when everything stopped, we were able to connect in some other way with others by teaching and in some weird way "travel". It was a very nice experience." says Olja Djukic, ballet dancer at the Belgrade national ballet. Together with her husband Randol Betancourt, also a dancer at the same company, they started teaching online classes during the pandemic and with so much interest, they are still teaching this way. Randol is talking about his ballet training in Cuba and how he had to make a mind shift from the way he was taught to teaching online. Olja agrees that this platform that they have created allows more people to get the opportunity to explore the art of ballet and in this way there will also be a new appreciation for this form of art. Hear more about how Randol and Olja support each other in their careers and also what their wishes are for the future.

Randal's shout out goes to Konoba Akustik in Belgrade and Olja recommends any coffee shop at Republic square
