"In my recent book I wrote about the relationship between music and medicine. I devoted one entire chapter to see how music and medicine, since the ancient times, also since the age of Babylonia, they are documenting how important is music for the wellbeing of people," says Patricia Caicedo, Musicologist, Singer, Author and Physician. She is talking about her latest book, We are what we listen to: The impact of music on individual and social health. Patricia is also talking about her career as a singer, dedicating many years to researching the Latin American and Iberian art song repertoire, bringing to light numerous composers and works that were previously hidden.
