Laurence Winram is an environmental land artist based in Scotland, a fascination that began after attending the 2018 European Land Art Festival in Dunbar when he became inspired to create his own unique style of land art. Being a commercial and art photographer by trade has enabled Laurence to capture his pieces in superbly detailed images. His work is mainly ground-based mandala-like creations but with a broad style that has recently incorporated stop-frame animation. He runs workshops for schoolchildren and adults with a focus on nurturing playful creativity. He is building a website of his work that will make print sales possible. He attends many of the land art festivals held worldwide and is now one of the directors of the European Land Art Festival.
