Gerardo Teissonnière - Recording of the Beethoven Sonatas
Pianist Gerardo Teissonnière is talking about the recording he has recently done of the Beethoven Sonatas. He considers Beethoven's sonatas as 40ct diamonds with multiple facets with so much to discover. He spends a lot of time to discover the substance and beauty of Beethoven's works and even after recording the sonatas, he would still find something new and interesting about these works. Gerardo sees the recording of these sonatas as a picture of where he was at the time and nothing more. He feels he is a transformed musician because of this and realises that he plays the music now even better.
It is so wonderful to talk to Gerardo about music for the way he describes the works he is playing. He has such an in depth understanding and passion for what he is playing which I find so beautiful
