Gaja Vittoria Pellizzari: Singing Lied is telling stories, adding color to each word creates magic.

Gaja Vittoria is a versatile vocalist whose repertoire extends from the Baroque period to contemporary music, encompassing both mezzo-soprano and soprano roles, making her a true Zwischenfach artist.

Originally from Udine, Italy, Gaja began her musical journey as a violinist before shifting her focus to vocal performance. She holds a Master’s degree in Opera from the Conservatorio J. Tomadini in Udine, where she studied under the esteemed soprano Annamaria Dell’Oste and pianist Ferdinando Mussutto. Her education has been further enriched by her current pursuit of a Master’s degree in "Lied & Oratorium" at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW). At MDW, she has the privilege of honing her craft under the guidance of renowned soprano KS Krassimira Stoyanova and accomplished pianist Justus Zeyen.

Gaja's passion for both operatic and art song (Lied) repertoire is evident in her performances. She has delivered themed recitals, collaborating with pianist Alessandro Del Gobbo, that explore diverse and intriguing subjects. Notable recitals include "DE MULIERIBUS: donne, streghe e sirene" and "Souvenirs d’Europe," which have been showcased at prestigious festivals and venues such as Carniarmonie, Teatro Nuovo Giovanni da Udine, the Festival Internazionale di Musica Sacra, Mittelcult, and Filosofia in Città. These performances highlight her ability to convey complex emotions and narratives through a wide range of musical styles and languages. Gaja Vittoria continues to captivate audiences with her dynamic interpretations and deep connection to her art.
