"It's a very popular instrument though it has evolved so much during the last 50 years and you can do so many more things than you used to do or hear. But not a lot of people know this or have seen the development that the instrument has made," says Daniel Roth about the Accordion. Daniel is part of the Accordion Duo Con:trust and he is talking about how he and Marius came together to form this unique Duo. Daniel and Marius are both studying the Accordion at Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar and even thought they are study classical Accordion, they also like to play different genres and collaborate with other musicians.
