Charlie Albright - Pianist
Pianist and Steinway artist Charlie Albright is talking about how the point of music is to communicate and touch people: "The audiences want to be moved. People want music to speak to them, to communicate to them. They don't want music to be all technically perfect and just 'bla', and not saying anything." Charlie is also a composer and improviser and hear more about the improvisations he does at his concerts.
Charlie tells how he started playing the piano at a young age and how he learned from different people in his community. Hear more about how he prepares for a concert and a great experience he had playing at Carnegie hall
