"I was always looking for ways to bring music to the farm and combine it with wine" says winemaker Cerina van Niekerk, winemaker of Cecilia wines. This dream of her came true and in addition, with part of the proceeds of her wine, she is bringing music to children on farms who would otherwise never have had the opportunity to play an instrument. Cerina is involved in many other music programs with the aim of getting less fortunate children the exposure to music and her next project is to collaborate with the music therapy post graduate faculty at the University of Pretoria to get music therapy available to some of these children. Hear more about this wonderful work that Cerina is doing in her community. This is proof that one person has the ability to bring change and enrich children's lives with music.
