Alexandra Mascolo David- Nurturing the art and the artist so they can fulfil their potential.

"There's such a thing as nurturing the art and the artist is a way that they can fulfil their best potential and full potential in a way, without having to crush their souls" says Pianist and Professor of Piano, Alexandra David. She started The performance anxiety Management course at the Central Michigan School of music which is now part of the curriculum. Alexandra says she is a rule breaker and she is not comparing her students to anybody else. For her it is more important that her students practice, work hard and are self-motivated. She encourages them to be self sufficient, problem solvers and guide them to work productively. She also teaches them the value of discipline but she does not crush their souls. Alexandra went through her own difficult experiences and for this reason she understands the value of nurturing the talents and abilities of young artists. I applaud her for the wonderful work she is doing and I hope more universities and schools could implement such a way of teaching art.

Alexandra also expresses her heart felt wishes for the future and the end of the interview.
