He gained international fame for originating the role of "Swan/Stranger" in Matthew Bourne’s groundbreaking Swan Lake, a production that redefined the traditional ballet and captured the attention of audiences worldwide. Adam also appeared in the 2000 film Billy Elliot, playing the adult version of the titular character, a role that further showcased his range as a performer.
